Solution: Voicemail Full and Messages Not Being Received

This article provides a solution for when the voicemail box has reached its capacity limit and cannot receive new messages.

Problem Description

When the voicemail is full, an alert such as "⚠️ Voicemail full — Message not recorded" is received. This situation prevents the reception and recording of new messages until space is cleared in the voicemail.

Required Actions

To enable receiving new messages in the voicemail, follow these steps:

1. Manually Delete Old Messages:

   Access your voicemail through the management system and delete old messages that are no longer needed.

   This action will free up space in the voicemail and allow new messages to be received.

2. Set Up Automatic Deletion (Recommended):

   To prevent future instances of a full voicemail, it is recommended to set up automatic deletion of old messages. This setting will trigger automatic deletion when the voicemail reaches 90% capacity.

   Follow these steps:

   2.1. Log in to the management system at cloud.phonecall.co.

   2.2. In the "Settings" menu, select "Voicemails," or go directly to: https://cloud.phonecall.co/pbx/voicemails.php.

   2.3. Select the desired voicemail.

   2.4. Scroll down to the "Delete old messages" setting.

   2.5. Save the setting.

   2.6. In case the system prevents saving because the voicemail is full beyond the defined quantity:

   2.6.1. Scroll down to the "Message quantity" setting.

   2.6.2. Change the value for "Message quantity" to a number higher than the current one.

   2.6.3. Save the setting.

   Please note: If you also receive messages via email, there is no reason to keep more than 100 messages in the voicemail.

   2.7. Afterwards, return to the main voicemails page (https://cloud.phonecall.co/pbx/voicemails.php).

   2.8. On the right side of the relevant voicemail, click the "Renumber" button.
